This Privacy Policy explains how 6th Street Tacos ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information collected through our website, our text-message (SMS) program, and when you contact us for support. By using our website or opting in to our SMS program, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to serve you:
- Contact details you give us — your name, mobile phone number, and email address when you place an order, opt in to text messages, or submit a support request.
- Message content — the details of a support request or any messages you send us, so we can respond.
- Basic technical data — standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) that our hosting provider records to keep the site secure and working. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and you are never required to provide a phone number to browse our site.
3. How we use your information
- To take and fulfill your orders and respond to your questions.
- To send the text messages you asked for (order and pickup updates and occasional specials) — only if you opted in.
- To provide technical support when you contact us.

4. Text messaging (SMS) & your mobile information
When you opt in to 6th Street Tacos Alerts, we collect your mobile number and your consent so we can send you order-ready alerts, pickup updates, and occasional specials from 6th Street Tacos.Message frequency varies (up to about 4 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replyingHELP.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign.
No mobile information — including your phone number and text-messaging consent — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, including your mobile phone number, to anyone. We share information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers who operate our services on our behalf and only as needed to do so — for example, our text-messaging provider (Telnyx), our email provider (Resend), and our website host (Cloudflare). These providers are bound to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes.
- Legal reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our customers or business.
All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
6. Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance. You can also email us to be removed.
- Email: ask us to stop sending non-essential email at any time.
- Access & deletion: contact us to ask what information we hold about you or to request its deletion, subject to any records we must keep by law.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — to run our SMS program, fulfill orders, answer support requests, and meet legal or accounting obligations — and then delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's privacy
Our website and SMS program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Material changes to our SMS practices will be reflected here before they take effect.
